New Low Price on the LG enV Touch!

As of right now, the Verizon Wireless website has dropped the price on the LG enV Touch (our review), its number one phone that doesn’t require a data plan.

The 2 year agreement price is $169.99, and after that there is a $70 online discount, bring it to $99.99.  But wait! If you qualify for your new every two (or rather, new every 1.75) now, slash another $50 off of that for a grand total of only $49.99. (and depending on where you live, around $36 worth of taxes. Screw you, fascist government!)

Honestly, for what you’re getting, paying $99.99 for the enV Touch is a good deal, but paying $49.99?  That’s legalized theft, there’s no way LG is making money off that.

It’s even cheaper than Samsung’s Alias 2, which, while I won’t deny has a excellent design and innovative keypad, it just doesn’t deliver as well in the way of features and multimedia as the enV Touch does.post2

Now this isn’t the first time this sale has been around, I got my Touch for the same price a month ago, but the price went up and now it’s back down, so get online for free overnight shipping or get over to your nearest Verizon Wireless store and have them match the price.

Let me know how you like it! Sound off in the comments!

My new every two deal allowed me an extra $99.99 off. (Because I waited another year, I guess)..so I'm getting the enV touch for FREEEEE. :)
  • Good point! if you signed up before 2006 with at least a $34.99 contract plan, you would get a $100 discount (assuming you havent used it yet)
then in in February of 2006 Verizon changed that to make it a $50 discount for $34.99 plans and a $100 discount for $79.99 plans.
And just a few months ago they changed it again to make it a $30 discount for plans of $34.99 and $50 off with a plan of $79.99.
so depending when you signed up for your plan and how much your plan costs, you could get a $100 discount. here's some technical jargon from verizon:

One thing is for sure though, i don't like this gradual lessening of discounts. what's it going to be next, $5 off after two years? seriously verizon.

Didn't the new-every-two used to be a $100 credit? This phone should be free.
